2 More pair of my original Ice Drop earrings

Finished these yesterday in size 40 Lizbeth 

Purple Splendor.

 Finished these today in size 40 Lizbeth 

Snow White.

And now I am out of those beads.

 And, for those who don't know, I don't use the 

regular Ice Drop gems in these because they are too 

heavy.  I have used these small glass beads I bought 

at Jo Ann's.  They are the 2nd & 3rd strings from the 

right.  I have also tatted 2 pair using those purple 

beads which are very light weight plastic.  And as 

you can see, I have plenty of other beads to tat into 

earrings or something!!  ;)

Now, these are not to be confused with the "Real" 

Ice Drop earrings I tatted using small regular Ice Drop 

gems-picture below side by side with a regular sized 

Birthday Ice Drop with the regular sized gem:

Still love these Birthday Ice Drops in colors for 

Christmas!!! :)

I finished tatting this one yesterday.  I wanted to 

reverse the red and gold beads to see the difference

it makes.

It's tatted in size 20 Lizbeth Snow White with 

gold and red beads.

 Here it is side by side with the red with gold beads.
I have to note that I made a mistake in tatting the
gold with red beads-I was watching Christmas
movies and added an extra 6ds to each center top
ring.  I am sure it's a little loose, but it's on my
tree and no one will bother it so I am not worried!  :)

 And today I tatted these Ice Drop earrings in 

size 40 Lizbeth Purple Splendor.  I believe I only 

have 3 more pairs of center gems left to tat into 

earrings(not sure they will be done this year)!

I have already started another Birthday Ice Drop.

Yesterday I finished tatting the first pair in size 40 

Lizbeth Raspberry Frappe.

 And, today's is size 40 Lizbeth Honey Drizzle.

Tons of ends to sew in after Christmas(or after 

New Year's).  :)

Ice Drops: the addiction continues!!

Today I completed this Birthday Ice Drop with 

size 20 Lizbeth Snow White and red and gold beads.

I love how regal it looks!! :)

The lighting isn't great cuz' we are in a snow 

storm today(third in 3 days).

 I completed this on the weekend.

 And a pair of my original Ice Drop earrings.

3 Pairs of Ice Drop Earrings

I finished the first pair today, and found the other 

two had been done and waiting for ends to be sewn 

in and findings to be added, so....they are now all 

done!!!

 First pair finished today is tatted in size 40 Lizbeth 

Autumn Spice with small glass beads.

 Next pair are plastic purple beads about the same 

size as normal Ice Drop "gems", and size 40 

Lizbeth Elderberry Jam.

 Next pair again are small glass beads, and size 40 

Lizbeth Autumn Apple Pie.

Well, now what to start or finish????

Tiny bit of tatting

Was bored at a board meeting and decided I could 

do something small and not distracting-yep it's 

small, but it's so cute!!! :)

I have to make another and make them into earrings.

I am sure someone will like them!!

They are tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Autumn Spice 

with glass bead centers.

It's Diane's Minty Fudge Ice Drop pattern slightly 

altered so that it didn't have huge chains for the 

earrings(the chains are 12 ds, and the rings are 

1-1-1-1).

More from yesterday and Monday...

Yesterday I was on a roll!!!  I got lots of housework 

done, Bible study in for the two ministries, and 

as you know from yesterday's 3 posts I completed 

3 tatting projects.  What you didn't know until now, 

is that I also tatted these Ice Drop earrings yesterday 

afternoon in size 40 Lizbeth Niagara Falls......

 And....Tablecloth update: Monday I added 4 more 

motifs(here it is on our couch)....

 and, last night I added 1 more motif-the section 

showing the full open circles.

A billion and one things going at the same time, but 

I am happy to be getting tatting done too!! :)

Already claimed-Christmas Ice Drop earrings

Our youngest daughter has been away for a month 

working a seasonal job at the amusement park to 

earn some money since she has had a hard time 

finding a job.  She came home yesterday as I was 

finishing these and loves them, and claimed them. 

They are tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Angel's Love with 

green glass center beads and small green glass beads.

 She loves earrings and has quite an assortment-many 

are pictured here.  And she loves the comments when 

she wears the tatted earrings.

White Ice Drop earrings

Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Snow White, and I 

wanted to add some tiny iridescent beads I had, 

but I forgot to add them to the ball thread first, 

so....I pulled the ball thread through the tiny beads 

then slipped the shuttle through the loop, slightly 

snugged the bead into place and then tatted the 

rest of the chain.  Not what I wanted, but it's ok.

I have also added a few more motifs to the 

tablecloth and will post a picture soon.

Green Ice Drop earrings

My friend, Jenny, asked if Ice Drops could be made 

into earrings and I had to explain that the regular 

ones would be too heavy, so I found these glass 

beads(which are not see-through) and have been 

using them to make Ice Drop earrings.

She wanted green ones, so I had to pull out my 

favorite green thread Yarnplayer's Celery size 40,

 and I tatted these today.  the beads are loose inside, 

but not too bad.  First picture shows both frontward.

 Next picture shows first one frontward, second one 

backward.

More Ice Drop earrings, but....

This pair is tatted in size 80 Lizbeth Falling Leaves.

The beads looked red and I wanted to make them 

Christmas earrings, but they have a touch of orange 

in them and I couldn't see red/orange with 

red/white/green.  So...I checked the bead next to 

the Falling Leaves and it looked great!

Another Ice Drop earring almost finished

Thought I ought to show the glass beads I am using 

to make these.  They are smaller and lighter than 

the normal glass gems to make Ice Drops.

I am using size 40 Lizbeth thread and my own 

stitch count.  The beads were bought at JoAnn's 

last week.

Well, I guess I ought to try and finish the second one.

More today

These earrings are the same as the last orange ones 

but, I added some beads.

Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Orange Crush with little 

orange beads and the center flower beads.

Still learning as I tat each pair.  I think I need to tat 

another pair of Ice Drop earrings next.
