A Man's Cross

This is for a guy we know.
It's Elaine P. Gan's Hope Cross.
It's tatted in size 40 Adventurer HDT
from Yarnplayer.  I used 2 strands
together to tat with to make it a
larger cross cuz' men aren't crazy
about dainty little things.  ;)
Hope your weekend has been great!
And tatting filled!!! :)

These are for a tatting friend who will be
decorating a Christmas tree for an event and
has asked for help tatting Ice Drops for the tree
all in White thread with red center gems.
Here is # 2.
I finished it last night around midnight while
hubby was watching his news after getting
out of work.
These will all be Diane's patterns.

A quick test tat

After finishing the necklace, some dishes, and
Bible study,  a quick test tat for Elaine P. Gan.
This is Renewed Heart.  I really love hers,
and they looked so frilly so I thought I ought
to use larger picots, but I am going to try again
using smaller picots.  This is very lacy looking.
Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Coral Splash.
Have a wonderful tatting filled evening!  :)

Headaches gone and tatting slow

Second necklace ready.
This one in Lizbeth size 40 Caribbean, and flip-
flop buttons and a tiny tear drop bead.
Here are the two next to each other.
 Here are the close-ups.
I can't wait for them to be received next month.
Other tatting needing to get done soon too.
Have a wonderful tatting filled day!! :)

Ok, 2 posts today-Wow!

Test tatting for Elaine P. Gan again.
This is supposed to have letter beads in it, but
since I don't have any, I used these special beads.
She calls it Name Bracelet.
This is tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Lilac Dk.
I may add more tatting to widen it a bit.
Here's a closer look, and the beads are easier to
see here.  :)
Have a happy tatting weekend!!! :)

Simple tatting

Dealing with headaches for a whole week,
but I have gotten this done.  I wanted  some-
thing more elaborate, but since I need two
and the headaches have kept me from getting
much tatting done, this will work.
It's just rings and chains in size 40 Lizbeth
Pink Blossoms, with a tiny tear drop bead
in the center, and a pair of flip-flop buttons
off center, and a large lobster claw clasp.
The large clasp is to make it easy for the senior lady
who is to receive this necklace next month, and
the flip-flops are to remind her to always "Walk
with Jesus!"
I have another to make just in a different color.
Happy Tatting everyone!!! :)

Had a fabulous day with Tollway Tatters!!!!!!!

Tollway Tatters Blast!!! :)
Here is the best picture I could get of everyone working!
Next, is Ana's project from one of Yarnplayer's books.
It's like a hair scrunchie and the colors are so beautiful!!!
Here is Barb on the left and Ana on the right.
Next is Denise checking out the fly rod fishing pole
she just got, and she did tat too!!
Here is a start to one of the projects Denise worked on.
 This is Barb's project-quite elegant!!
And here's Barb working on it.
This is Diane's project, her new Tudor Rose Ice Drop!!!
Love it!!!!!!!!!
And here is Diane at work tatting!!!
Here is Sue Anna talking, but she did work on
a beautiful pair of Steampunk Earrings from
Yarnplayer's designs.
And I had to show you her beautiful earrings she
was wearing, which are more Yarnplayer designs.
I brought along the tablecloth I am tatting, and
worked on it, adding about 4 more motifs to it.
And, this is a tatter who just joined us today.  Her
name is Mary, and she was busy needle tatting a
design she was creating(sorry, I didn't get a picture).
And, just before I had to leave, Diane pulled out her
Renulek Spring Doily and I had to get a picture-
it's very elegant!!!!!!!!!!!  :)
So....that was the fun I had today.
I got home and have already baked the brownies
for tomorrow's lunch and have to get the lasagna
ready for 20 people, so.....it's more cooking before bed
and up at 5am to cook it fully.
Have a fabulous weekend, and
Happy Tatting!!!!!!!!!!  :)

Second Ice Drop Suncatcher done!

I have had this tatted, but was lazy and didn't
attach it to the bangle bracelet today.
It's tatted in Lizbeth size 40 Niagara Falls,
with a blue center gem, tiny blue beads,
and a matching blue bangle bracelet.
I thought I would show how it differs from the
first one I tatted(sorry for the glare).
These are the fronts.
 These are the backs.
This is a close-up of the back of today's.
Have a wonderful tatting filled weekend!!!  :)

3rd cross done!

This cross is Elaine P. Gan's Mercy Cross.
It's very small in size 40, but I figured
since it's for a man it will be ok(they
don't usually do much with them like
the women do).  It's tatted in size 40
Lizbeth Autumn Apple Pie.
Have a wonderful weekend, and
Happy Tatting!!!  :)

This is Elaine P. Gan's New Cross.
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Wildflower
Garden.
Not sure it the 3rd one will get done today,
but hoping.
Time for Bible study-can't teach without
study time!!! :)
Happy Tatting!! :)

A Cross today

Oh....I forgot to get a picture of my "tatting"
from last night-it was like Diane's grandkids
tatting(I wound 3 shuttles).  :)
I am needing more crosses for the Sunday
night seniors.  We have gained 4 new
people so I have started on the crosses
for them.
This one is Elaine P. Gan's Liberty Cross.
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Vineyard Harvest.
I have started the second cross, and a
third is in line.
Have a wonderful weekend and
Happy Tatting!!! :)

Ice Drop ornaments

Well, only the older granddaughter came over.  Not
much tatting done, but just the center of an Ice Drop
ornament.  I am enjoying making these and have
plans for them.  :)
Of course, my laziness shows with unfinished ends!
Oh, the one on the right is the only one tatted this
week.
Hope you are having a wonderful day and getting
tatting time in!!! :)

Another Christmas Ice Drop(same type as last one)

Sorry for the bad picture, it's late and I am tired.
This is the same Ice Drop pattern as the last post,
but I used a Red center gem and red beads.
Have a wonderful weekend and happy tatting!!! :)

Another Christmas Ice Drop

This is Diane's Minty Fudge Ice Drop pattern.
Tatted in size 20 Lizbeth Christmas Delight.
And the beads are plastic kids beads.
I figure these Christmas Ice Drops will make great
ornaments for Christmas trees!!!  :)
Have a wonderful weekend and happy tatting!!  :)
