More crosses and a neglected Teapot

Here are Mary Konior's Small Cross and Large Cross from Tatting with Visual Patterns.
Both are in size 40 Lizbeth threads.  The first is Island Breeze, and the second is Girly Girl.
The first is for our 90 year old in our Sunday night group, and the second is for another lady in the same group(which I just found out went to the hospital last night-don't know if I will get to see her Sunday night).
Next, I did this quite awhile ago, but was hoping to finish it off and then show you.  Since it has sat so long I figured I should do something with it so I decided to show it in it's totally unblocked and ignored state.  I am hoping to use it in a wedding gift for my mother-in-law and her soon to be hubby(end of August).
This is the Anything Teapot by Martha Ess, pattern here:
Hers are so beautiful and mine is deformed(until finish and blocking).  :)
Oh, it's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Navy.
Still working on my spring doily and almost done with round 6, still slowly working on garland, and tablecloth is once again "tabled" for the time being.

Crosses

This first cross is Mary Konior's Large Cross in size 10 Celery HDT from Yarnplayer.  I love this green most of all(but, my favorite color is blue).    :)
It's for another lady in our Sunday night group.  It had to be large because she is legally blind.
I have this feeling I may be tatting a cross a week till all have one.
The first cross, which I didn't get a picture of was from the book Tatted Bookmarks Needle & Shuttle edited by Barbara Foster Handy Hands, Inc. The Heritage Cross is by Dee Powell.
And here are some more.  The one that I didn't get a picture of was the same as the red below, but I added blue with the red when tatting the chains-which made the chains thicker than the rest, but the lady who received it loved it since red and blue are her favorite colors.  :)
These ones are all size 40 Lizbeth threads.  The first two are Rainbow Taffy, and the red is Christmas Red.
One of the Rainbow Taffy crosses is going to a niece of ours who we haven't seen in a very long time and I think she is getting married.  Wow!  I remember her as an 8yr. old.  :)

2014 25 Motif Challenge # 13

I have wanted to badly to tat this beautiful cross since I first saw it!!!  I wasn't sure I could do it, but it isn't as complicated as I thought(although, I did miss one join so I tied the picots together and sewed in the thread ends).  It's Jane's Bookmark Cross, pattern here:   http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/6207094/janebookmarkcross-gracetan-pdf-170k?da=y
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Pink Blossoms.  It's for a very sweet lady in our Sunday night group.

Round 5 is done and round 6 will probably wait until next week to be started.  :)

Renulek's Spring doily round 4 done. :)

Surprise!!!  I have added size 40 Lizbeth Lime Green Med.     :)
It would look nicer if I hadn't just tossed it onto the scanner, but I was in a hurry.  :)
Just had to show it off a bit.  :)

Ok, I am willing to show this now. :)

Following everyone else's impressive and beautiful tatting of this doily, I just had to try!!!  :)
This is Renulek's Spring Doily.  The Pattern starts here:
I have the first 3 rounds done here.  Getting ready to start the fourth.
The center is size 40 Lizbeth Pineapple Parfait, and the outer round is size 40 Lizbeth Orange Crush.
***Repeated mistake note!  I messed up and didn't join the center rings on the third round, but it's ok.  :)

Tatting, tatting, and more tatting....when possible

First is this necklace I had to make to encourage a very young girl who is going through a rough time and is saying that God doesn't love her.  I don't know the situation, but I really felt this might help her remember that He does love her.  It says God loves Renae with an Everlasting Love.
The heart is a "Shrinky-Dink" printed from the computer, then cut into shape and holes punched, then put in the oven to shrink and harden.  Then tatting added in size 40 Lizbeth Rainbow Splash.
And below is the back and I glued a little glittery angel on it.
I have been working on the 2nd of 4...18 foot beaded garlands for my friend.  Here is the link to the first finished one:   http://hiskid66.blogspot.com/2014/01/a-little-tatting-and-lot-of-snow.html
And here are many other things I have worked on, attempted, or am still working on.  :)
Don't look too close...somethings are supposed to be a surprise to show later.  Ha Ha since I know you can see it!!  :)

The VERY slowly progressing Tatted Tablecloth

The last update on this was way back in 2011 here:
It's for my husband and he is actually being patient with me on this.
I have done just a tiny bit more since this picture(my new camera is no longer recognized by the computer so I had to go to great lengths to get this here).  I am just using the same antique motif over and over and creating my own design.  The pattern is here:  http://www.antiquepatterns.dreamhosters.com/DMCTat.pdf
It's called Ground figure 24 Medallions(apparently the link isn't working any longer or just right now).  I can't wait to see the finished project.....but I guess I will have to wait or learn to tat at the speed of light!!  :)
