2014 25 Motif Challenge # 13

I have wanted to badly to tat this beautiful cross since I first saw it!!!  I wasn't sure I could do it, but it isn't as complicated as I thought(although, I did miss one join so I tied the picots together and sewed in the thread ends).  It's Jane's Bookmark Cross, pattern here:   http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/6207094/janebookmarkcross-gracetan-pdf-170k?da=y
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Pink Blossoms.  It's for a very sweet lady in our Sunday night group.

I love this cross, too, but haven't tatted it yet. Good to know it's not too complicated! It will be very much appreciated!

It is beautiful, I think the circular shaped rings makes it look hard to me!

beautiful cross. One of my favorite patterns. I love it in this color thread. I just bought that color, so I guess I'll have to make myself a pink cross.

Thank you Kathy!! :) I think you will like it! Next time I will pay closer attention when joining the second section!!! :)
Thank you Madtatter80!! :) The rings shape themselves that way due to the joins!! :)
Thank you mb duke!! :) It's great that you get a chance to see what it might look like ahead of time!! :)

This will make a lovely gift! It really isn't difficult. I've missed that join too, but I have an older version of Grace's pattern that had a mistake there. I've scribbled myself a note to remind myself about that join.

I attempted this pattern last year and somehow could not work it out so had to give up. When I see it tatted I really have admaration for whoever has managed to make it.

Thank you so much everyone!!! :)
The lady I made it for cried when I gave it to her. I told her it was supposed to make her smile and she did. :) Thanks to Grace for sharing this wonderful pattern!!! :)
