2 More pair of my original Ice Drop earrings

Finished these yesterday in size 40 Lizbeth
Purple Splendor.
Finished these today in size 40 Lizbeth
Snow White.
And now I am out of those beads.
And, for those who don't know, I don't use the
regular Ice Drop gems in these because they are too
heavy.  I have used these small glass beads I bought
at Jo Ann's.  They are the 2nd & 3rd strings from the
right.  I have also tatted 2 pair using those purple
beads which are very light weight plastic.  And as
you can see, I have plenty of other beads to tat into
earrings or something!!  ;)
Now, these are not to be confused with the "Real"
Ice Drop earrings I tatted using small regular Ice Drop
gems-picture below side by side with a regular sized
Birthday Ice Drop with the regular sized gem:

"Real" Ice Drop earrings

A friend had seen my Ice Drop ornaments and
asked if they could be earrings.  I told her that
they were quite heavy, but I would see if I could
make some another way.  She already has  several
pair of the Ice Drop earrings I have made with the
glass beads, but after finding these smaller Ice Drop
gems and smaller bugle beads I tried them, and she
fell in love with them the moment she saw them-and
they left my presence!
These are tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Blue Ice with size 2
iridescent bugle beads, tiny blue beads, and a clear
small Ice Drop gem.
 Here's another view.
Here is to show the size next to the Ice Drop ornament.
This pattern again is the Birthday Ice Drop.
Oh, these earrings went this weekend, but also 5 Ice
Drop ornaments, a bracelet, a bookmark, a baby headband
and a dangle.  Several of the Ice Drop ornaments are
going to be for first Christmas ornaments.  :)
Hope you had a fabulous weekend!
May your week be blessed with tatting!!! :)
