2017 25 Motif Challenge # 9

This first picture is my challenge piece.  I think I did
pretty well on it.  It's from the book 20 Twenty to
Make Tatted Snowflakes by Jennifer Williams and
it's called Karen.  I call it a winter motif.
I also got done tatting another Birthday Ice Drop.
Love the way it looks in the sun, and wish I could
capture the amazing sparkling in these drops!!
And, playing around I tatted this simple sequin
motif using up thread.
Had a little snow last night, but it didn't last.
Have a wonderful day with tatting!!! :)

Spectacular sequins! I like the birthday one too, it's a shame a photo doesn't show the shine, but it looks great anyway.

Wow! These special sequins really make Jennifer's snowflake quite exceptional! Really jumps off the page! You keep coming up with unique ideas with beads and tatting!

Thank you very much Kathy, but I must admit the Ice Drop is someone else's idea which they graciously shared the pattern, and the sequins were inspired by one of the Ice Drop Addicts tatters. I am just inspired by them!!! :)
