Another Birthday Ice Drop

This one is tatted in size 20 thread, the others in
size 40.
In order as tatted, but notice the last one is pretty
much the same size as the others considering it is
tatted in larger thread(I'm confused).
Our daughter brightened my weekend with this
adorable new friend, Peppermint the reindeer!!!
Great Ice Drop mascot!!  ;)
Have a wonderful week of tatting!!!! :)

Yes, I used to think that something tatted in size 20 would be twice the size of the same thing worked in size 40 thread, but no, that aint so! It does look bolder, but not a lot bigger. They're all very pretty.

Interesting!
Love the watery effect of these glass, beads and thread combos !

I can see a size difference. I'm guessing that it's not as noticeable because of the bugle beads taking place of double stitches, and the bugle beads haven't changed thickness.

Lovely ice drops, I like them a lot in this color. My test tatting showed that in one centimeter, size 20 tats 8ds while size 40 tats 10ds, so the difference is only 2ds per cm. If you want to double the dimension, the size 100 tats 16ds per cm!
