A Suncatcher

Well....I tatted this suncatcher trying out something new.  I didn't have beads to match except these little ones so I decided to see if I could make "tatted beads".  I tatted 2ds and placed one bead from the shuttle thread, then 1ds and another bead, then either a join or a picot(which ever was needed at that time), then 1ds another bead, another 1ds and another bead then 2ds.  They work!!!  :)
Usually I glue the knots then trim close, but I wanted this done and just before I put it on the scanner I was trying to straighten the chains a bit and if you look to the left hand side you will see that the chain broke and is floating.  Oh well.....I could always use another suncatcher for me.  :)  Now, that I know this works, I might try another(but, I will glue the knots before I mess with anything next time)!!!  :)
This is size 40 Lizbeth Green Coral Sea and little green beads.
Hope you are having a wonderful day!!!  :)
Enjoy your tatting time!!!  :)

Love it ! The bead clusters give a daintily look than perhaps a single large bead would.

So pretty! I like the way you've incorporated two rings, and those bead clusters are perfect!
