Ok...I am stunned that I was able to get tatting in with so much to do!!
I believe we are ready for the start of the outdoor ministry, and we are
preparing to brave the cold(and they are calling for snow next Sunday-YIKES)!
But most importantly...I was able to finish this. I started it earlier in the
week and just got it finished. I will explain what it is later because I have an
idea which I am hoping to try with it first, so details will come later.
And...I got these done and just LOVE them!!! :)
This is Corina's Beaded Flower, and a beaded star adaptation from me.
Corina's pattern here: http://cmhandmade.blogspot.com.es/2013/07/pattern-for-beaded-flower.html
Again, on the longer chains on the outside I only used 8 ds instead of the 12 in the pattern.
And the star is half the count of the center rings and only 3 beads on top.
The thread is size 40 Lizbeth Rainbow Taffy!!! :) One of the Fun colorways!!! :)
Have a very Happy Easter!!!
And enjoy any and all tatting time!!! :)

The top motif (is it a Maple leaf?) has so many possibilities depending on how the repeats are done - diamond, star, coaster, small doily,... ! Waiting eagerly to see what you make of it, with details :-)
Nice flowery colourway :-)
Thank you muskaan!!! :) No, the top is not a Maple leaf.
The top motif would be a wonderful corner for a hanky edging! I love when you tat the flowers. They're so cheerful!
Happy Easter to you and your family. You already know I love your flowers! I look forward to seeing what you're doing with the top motif.
The triangle motif looks very familiar, but I can't really remember where I've seen it or something like it. It's a motif will all sorts of possibilities. Love your little star and snowflake flower, too. I used a design very similar to your snowflake flower to teach adding beads to tatting at a lace day event in Shreveport many years ago. I tatted mine in DMC red, size 80, and wore them as earrings. I have no idea where they are now.
Thank you all so very much!!! :)
Eliz, that is interesting about your earrings and teaching. This pattern is Corina's so I don't take credit for it. :)
