Green project finished and revealed!! :)

This is my green project-a large green suncatcher.  It is 8 inches across.  The center is the first 5 rounds from a pattern called Exquisite Luncheon Set in the book Tatting Doilies & Edgings edited by Rita Weiss.
It's tatted in Yarnplayer's HDT Celery size 10 and 4mm Peridot Bicone beads.
This will be gifted to a friend at the end of June.  I can't wait to see her response!!!  :)

This IS a surprise! But a great idea! I can't imagine how many wraps around the ring, but in the variegated thread the effect is wonderful. I'm sure your friend will love it!

Very beautiful! How did you attach it to the ring! I have a star that I've been stalling with the ring for YEARS because I can't figure out how to do the attaching.

Thanks Kathy!!, I am not sure how many wraps actually either. I started with 8 between each join, then 10, then 15. So, there should be 15(and sometimes 14 when I was a bit distracted) between each join.
Thanks Lelia and Umintsuru!!, I was working on the original doily and noticed that the first 5 rounds looked like they would fit perfectly in that ring so I decided to try and make my largest suncatcher and it seems to have come out beautifully for a first time!! :)
Thank you Diane!! I can't wait to give it to her, but I have to wait!! :)
Michelle, thanks so much for the comment!! As for attaching it to the ring I used the method for wrapping around a ring as Jon Yusoff(http://tatsaway.blogspot.com/) uses in her book. I hope that helps and I can't wait to see your star!! :)
