Here are the suncatchers!! The top 2 are my mother-in-law's, the bottom rainbow is my friend's, and the last one is for me. :) Have a very happy day!!! :)

Oh, and I should mention that the beads are all cheap plastic kids beads I have had for years(since my girls-who are all adults now-were young and making little "necklaces" and such).

Then another..this for our youngest daughter(21). And as you can see it's hung already.

And my friend has requested a rainbow one. And my mother-in-law a rainbow one and a pink/purple/blue one. And this weekend when we surprised my mother-in-law with a birthday celebration she loved the bracelet I made her, and she saw the Valentine heart earrings I made and gave me $4 for them. 2012 25 Motif Challenge Motif # 5 Suncatcher

And I think this will be a birthday gift for our youngest granddaughter and make another for her older sister, and I have a request from my youngest daughter(21) for a Rainbow-licious one.

Lots of tatting and updates and 2012 25 Motif Challenge #4

First to start are 5 pairs of Christmas trees to fill my orders(minus the one for my granddaughter which I need special earrings and to alter the tree pattern and make it smaller).

I also made 3 more rainbow crosses so I have some in stock for when my mother-in-law wants more.

Update on the tablecloth for my husband. Still making slow progress, but at least it's happening. I laid it across the table for this picture, but it will go lengthwise when actually finished. I didn't plan on the empty circles, but without any pattern things happen. My husband is happy either way.

Needing a change of design and color I tried this doily with a size 10 Aunt Lydia's crochet thread. The color name is Passionata and it looked to me almost like an autumn rainbow on the spool, but.....I wasn't quite as thrilled when seeing it worked up, but it's nice for a color change and to try this doily-which will be done again in better colors(hopefully!). :) The doily pattern is Sidekick from Elegant Tatting Patterns by Janet Carroll.

I needed a little more tatting organized storage and so...I was ok'd to buy this. And it's almost full already. :)

Troubles viewing and commenting on some blogs recently

If I haven't commented on some of your wonderful tatting recently it's because I am having trouble with some blogs. They are not fully loading and are freezing constantly. I hope it will all workout soon so I can let you all know how wonderful your projects are!!!

2012 25 Motif Challenge

Motif #1 is Tatted Heart from the Handy Hands catalog for Jan.-Dec. 2011 done in size 40 Lizbeth Rainbow Taffy.
Motif # 2 is the 5 pointed motif on the right in size 40 Lizbeth Christmas Red and the pattern is from here: http://www.middia.net/domocredix/index.php?id_kat=1&id=16
The center top one is the first try in which I some how wasn't smart enough that day to count 4 instead of 5. :D
The rest in this set are just random tattings which I did during the holidays whenever I could get a break.
The 3 red hearts(2 with stud earrings) are going to be a necklace and earring set for a young girl when I get the silver chain for the necklace and I finish off the ends.

Motif #3 is a hanky edging. From Mary Konior's Tatting with Visual Patterns. This is Asters done is size 40 Lizbeth Purple Iris Fusion. I gave this as a Christmas gift to a friend.
