Working on tatting

Well, I thought I was doing pretty good, half way around
but the ruffling is way too much!!
This is in Lizbeth size 3 Snow White.
So I started to cut it off, but then snipped a thread
from the previous row and had no way to fix it, and
since that row had a continuous mistake in it, I figured
it was meant to be, so two rows to start over.
Today I needed a change so I decided to tat an Ice Drop.
Tatted in size 20 Lizbeth Coral Splash.  Just made up
the design as I tatted.
For those who are wondering, nope, not in the house
yet.
Have a wonderful tatting day!!! :)

Wow😍 that size 3 is beautiful work and love the look. That was heart wrenching to see the cut off. That ice drop look like a mirror in the center 💐❄️💐

Oh no, that’s a lot to snip off!

Cutting off is so disheartening but it’s still lovely. Great ice drop!

I have snipped the wrong thread way too many times! I guess the only good thing is that it was near the beginning.

I agree with the 2 comments. After the cut-back it looks like an ornate wheel! Looking forward to what design you come up with for next rounds.

There's nothing worse than cutting off and having to start again

I hope you get into your new home by christmas
