I have wanted to tat this bracelet since I first saw
it, and I didn't do it justice so I will have to try
again another time, maybe using size 40 instead
of size 20 thread.
This is Corina Meyfeldt's pattern. Link here:
I tatted in size 20 Lizbeth Sky Blue Dk. with these
fabulous beads I found at Hobby Lobby from inBloom
by Bead Design, and Czech Glass Beads 11/0 seed
beads Crystal. I purposely left the focal beads out
of the centers of the end motifs so that I could wear
it and sit my wrist on a table without the pain of
beads under my wrist.
I had also tried to add the seed beads around the
focal bead, but that distorted the tatting and didn't
work well for me. I also believe smaller picots on
the points and outer joins would help a lot!!!!
We are having a house full today for what was
supposed to be a grill out, but it's raining so, it will
be just a food and fellowship day!! :)
Happy tatting and have a wonderful weekend!!! :)

beautiful bracelet!
Gorgeous bracelet, I love the pattern it's on my list too, love the colour
Well done
Beautiful bracelet! You did a great job. How did you add the center bead?
It turned out well! I like the idea of omitting the beads from the two outer motifs for the sake of comfort, too.
It looks very pretty ! And very practical to avoid beads at base of wrist :-)
Your bracelet is splendid! Lovely colour blue too.
Thank you all so very, very much!!! :)
Bernice, no earrings, I don't wear earrings, but I was thinking while tatting the single motifs that they would make great earrings for someone. :)
JB, I leave a very long "tail" at the beginning of the motif, then I tat the first 4 large and small rings. Next, I take the tail folded in half and draw the loop through the bead and then between the 4th large and small rings and pull through the back and put the shuttle through that loop and then pull the end of the "tail" of that thread back down to kind of secure it. Then I finish tatting the motif and tie the 2 ends together for more security of the bead. It's a bit tough to get the rings as nice and close with the bead in the way, but as you see, it can be done. I think Corina might have sewn hers in after completing the motif, but I am not sure so I just tried this and it worked. :) Hope that all makes sense and that it helps!!! :)
