No Tatting, but plenty of snow to show for those who are interested.

I prefer to show tatting and then maybe a little something extra since this is a tatting blog, but for those who are curious here are 4 pictures from Saturday's "blizzard"(not much of a blizzard compared to the one when I was a kid which lasted 2 weeks).  These first 2 pictures are from late morning and early afternoon.

These next 2 are from later in the day(what a total difference!!), notice blue sky??  And there was actual sunshine.  :)  This is our 15 passenger van with it's snowy decor.  :)
 and pretty clouds??
And these next 2 are from this morning.  It has cleared quite a bit since, and is much brighter out, but no sun or blue skies.

I lived in Northern Indiana as a child and remember well the blizzards of '77 and '78. I think we got two weeks of school off for each of those blizzards. I live in Texas now and don't see much snow. (And I don't miss it a bit!)

Wow mb duke!! You were close to us and we must have shared that same blizzard! :) You might not miss the snow, but I don't do well without it, cuz' to me it's not winter or Christmas without snow(I know, I am crazy!!)!! :)

What state do you live in? You make my pictures look like it's not so bad :) I am in Knoxville Tennessee. we did get Ice not too much snow and frost bit wind chills.

Madtatter80, we live in Michigan along the Lake Michigan shoreline. We are used to this kind of weather so it's not too bad, but everyone loves to complain anyway. We are still in a winter storm warning through Thursday(tomorrow) and expecting another 6-10 inches. I am hoping to get some tatting done tomorrow because I failed today with LOTS of phone calls due to this weather.

You have way more snow than we do! We did have a little bit of white out conditions on Saturday, but for now we just have the bitter cold. Stay safe and warm!

Thanks for all the warm thoughts everyone!!! I have been inside all of yesterday and it's supposed to be feeling way below zero temps today and I think I have to venture out to at least find my steps in case of an emergency so I will make that as quick as possible and then get back in and make my homemade cocoa to warm me from the inside out. :)
Oh, and it's still snowing.

You are welcome Madtatter80!! I have lived here all my life so this really isn't anything except a good reason to complain. :)
