2014 25 Motif Challenge Motifs # 14 & 15

First, is the Santa Fe Cross by Pam McCormack from the book Tatted Bookmarks Needle & Shuttle  edited by Barbara Foster.  It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Lilac Med. And it's just a little bit bigger than the picture in the book.  I missed 2 joins and tied them and sewed in the threads.
Next, is the Tatted Cross by Dee Powell from the same book.  Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Lime Green Med.
I like the "X" design in the center of this cross.
I finished the first cross and tatted most of the second during my "time-out" due to the gas main break.  I survived and ended up with 2 more crosses for the ladies in our Sunday night group.  :)
Have a great day!!!  :)

There's something very soothing about tatting crosses, and these are both beautiful!

Both the crosses are so beautifully done & love the choice of colors, as well. Cheery, yet soothing & elegant !
Hope you've been able to settle back in your home comfortably ....

Thank you muskaan!!! :) I ask the ladies their favorite color and go home and tat them a cross in that color(if possible). As for back in my home...I never left. Thankfully no gas ever made it in, the wind sent it away, and they have it fully fixed after three 24 hour days of working on it. I am very thankful that is over!!! :)

You have quite a collection of tatting patterns for crosses! Thanks for showing us so many different versions, beautifully tatted in pretty colors.

I'm amazed they let you stay at home during that gas crisis! I would have thought they would have evacuated the neighborhood! Hope that's all resolved now!

Hi Kathy! Thank you for your comment!! I have more crosses to come(because there are more ladies that need crosses). :)
I was surprised that they didn't evacuate me(at least) through the gas crisis, but I am safe and no worries(at the moment). :)
Thanks for your concern!! :)
