2012 25 Motif Challenge #14

I have finished the Butterfly edging and sewn it on the skirt(skort-skirt with shorts).
The pattern is from Tatting Doilies & Edgings edited by Rita Weiss #6 on pg. 38. I think this pattern turned upside down resembles bows so it could be used a different way too. :)
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Girly Girl.
This first picture is a copy of the scan from our new printer(I need to figure out how to use it yet).
This second is a photo from my camera to see the whole skort.
I made 2 butterflies to put at the bottom to dress it up a bit more.
Have a great day!! :)

That's a great way to show off tatting!

Perfect way to use tatting! This is adorable - what girly-girl would not love that skirt?

Great job on the skort edging! You may need to spend the rest of the summer indoors and away from hot objects. Hope all your burns have healed.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I have some sz 100 thread I ordered a long time ago, but I have not used it yet. May have the courage to use it after tatting my edging.

Hi Gwen,
Thanks for the comment!! I used to get sun burned every summer as a kid because I was outside a lot, but now I am indoors more, and it only happens once in awhile when I get careless. :) All the burns are healed now, but I am thinking this summer might have more sun burns in store for me. :)
