A friend of ours has been staying with us for the past couple of weeks and he has watched this from beginning to end and has been amazed.
It's too big for the scanner as you can see, but most of it fit so I figured since it would give a much better picture than my camera I would use it.

Lovely doiley, very pretty color, and nicely tatted...I like that pattern, I love how the spacing is reminiscent of a flower's petals...it looks like a peony or maybe a dahlia when you look at the whole thing, particulary pretty doiley :-)
