I have been busy!!

I finally!!!  finished my large triangle 

inserts for the sides of my shirt.  They 

are no way perfect!!!  but they work!!

Tatted in size 10 Lizbeth Magenta Dk.

The pictures are not great!!!  I am a tatter 

not a photographer.  The color looks a bit 

off in this picture, but it looks fine in person.
I designed my own large triangle which needs 

much improvement especially in the center, 

I think I did ok for my first try!!  It's in size 10

 I have another style in progress which when 

done(a long time from now) will be posted also.  ;)

I have also been tatting a selection of bracelets 

for the up coming craft shows in Nov. & Dec. 

I have lots of finishing to do, but the tatting is 

done.  :) I am trying to make each in a different 

design.  Some are patterns and some I just tat.  :)

Next, is a design of my own. Folded rings make this

Next, is my simple bookmark/bracelet pattern. The 

bracelet above took along time to think about, I stared 

by tatting the bracelet design below, but it was too 

narrow in design for the focal, so I made it a charm 

bracelet.

Next is Robin Perfetti's Diamond Braid with Border 

from her book Tatted Bookmarks.  Tatted in size 20 

Lizbeth Rainbow Splash and Black.

Next is a made up design.  I saw something similar and 

liked the look.  Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Spice Cake.

Back to work on the large triangle!

 I have spent time this week reworking the 
inside row, and today I finished that row, 
and started work on another inside row.

We had a great Tollway Tatters gathering, 
and then we were invited to join another 
online tatting gathering.  I got tatting done 
while in both groups, and some chatting too.
I got to meet new people(to me) in the 2nd 
group.  And I got more tatting completed on 
my triangle.

I am liking it.

***Crying***Destruction time!!

 I had to amputate the inside row so that I
could try again.  I would say back to "square 
one", but it's back to triangle 1.  ;)

Continuing and working on the smaller 

triangle one too. ;)

Well, the large triangle has to come to an end....for now.

The inside was going fine, but I was a bit

concerned it might ruffle or bow, and...it 
does.  So, I either have to cut off the outside,
or the inside...but I like both.

Although, if I do it right I could salvage 

the bottom right corner and make it an 

edging for a V-Neck shirt(I don't wear 
V-Necks, so not sure about that)...

So, I set it aside just for a bit(I NEED a completed 
large triangle!!)  ;)
And so I decided to work on the small triangle I 
designed and start with just joining small triangles 
to make a large one.  I am trying to get the colors to 
go well with the tie-dye shirt I want to sew the finished 
triangle to. Some will be as the colors are here, and 
some will be full solid of each color, trying to make 

them simulate the tie-dye(kind of). Here are the first 2

Making bits of progress

 I think after 3 tries this might work well.
So far it's trying to curl a bit, but I think
it's because I am a tight tatter.  ;)

The two balls of Lizbeth Magenta DK. 
at the bottom are in size 10 purchased 
so I can tat 2 of these for my shirt.  This 
is my prototype. ;)

Look at all the wonderful colors I got 
on the Handy Hands buy 4 get 1 free 
last week.  I have restocked some that 
are running low, and added new colors. 
Tons of inspiration just looking at the 
colors!!! :)

Well, the Large Triangle frame is done.

 Now trying to fill the inside.  I have made 3

attempts already and finally cut it all off after

unpicking the first 2 attempts.  Going to try again.

I might be test tatting again starting next 
week!!  What fun!! :)
