Granddaughter invasion

Well, our older granddaughter decided to take up
tatting again.  She re-learned quickly and has rings,
picots, joins and chains achieved.
She wanted to take her tatting home and hopefully
teach her friend too, so I had to come up with a way
for her to keep it all together and organized.
I believe her mother gave us these little tubs with
candy in for Christmas several years ago, and I kept
them to use later somehow.  Well, it works great!!
And the lids snaps on securely!!  ;)
Well, after a hard maybe half hour of tatting.....
and after a hard half hour of being bored while
grandma and sister worked on tatting.....
Well, it's time to head toward their home(YIKES-
don't tell them, they are not happy about going home!)
Have a wonderful day of tatting and hopefully love!! :)

Good recycling! I hope it’ll encourage your granddaughter to keep on tatting, but in any case it seems she’ll pick it up easily again when she wants to.

So nice to see the younger tatting lace even if she quietly coursed 🌻😁🌻

I keep hoping my oldest granddaughter will show a renewed interest in tatting. She was doing so well way back in third grade. She'll be a junior in high school this year. My, how time flies!

So nice to see grand children taking an interest in tatting or whatever craft you do.
Unfortunately they get bored quickly

She'll come back to it someday, rest assured :-) The creative bug never leaves ;-P

Thank you muskaan!! :) She sent me a message and said she tried working on it last night while very tired and kept making mistakes. At least she is trying. ;)
