Christmas gifts for tatting

A friend of mine was over yesterday and brought
Christmas presents.  She came with several average
and small packages, but then one large package.
As she handed everything out it came down to me
receiving the very large package, and when I opened
it there was this 12 drawer rolling storage cart.
She said she it was for my tatting, to organize and
be able to put projects away when our granddaughters
come over(speaking of which, they are due today).
Next, she handed me the next two items.
First is a pencil case, she said I could keep
empty shuttles in it-I said, it would be empty a lot
since I have all my shuttles "tied" up with things
all over right now.  ;)  Who knows, I might have
to buy shuttles to put in there to make her happy!!  ;)
And the other item was a baggie full of these
Christmas buttons of all shapes and sizes.  Lots of
fun ones, and I am supposed to figure out what to
do with them all!!  :)  This could take some time!!
Hope your new year has started off well!!
Have fun tatting!!! :)

Wow this friend is a good one, keep her or him! Buttons are another favorite and maybe I could use that box to put all the ones I collect in!

How wonderful to receive presents for tatting. I think my "shuttle box" would be empty too. Year before last I saw a pattern where a shank button was used in the center of motif/snowflake. That could be a use for your many beautiful Christmas buttons.

What a thoughtful friend! I use a similar little box for thread winders with leftover thread. Hugs!
