Ok, here it is(not in glory, but done).
This is Flowerpiece by Mary Konior in her book
Tatting with Visual Patterns. I have wanted to tat this for a
long time, but couldn't decide exactly which colors I wanted
until I had my size 40 Lizbeth Coral Splash, and Salmon Med.
I added Lime Green Med. as my "flower stems".
It was all ok until tatting the final round and then
it cupped and bunched badly, so I blocked it into
submission. As you can tell, it needed a better job,
but I tried! It's going to a friend who needs cheering up.
And......I started Renulek's new 2016 Spring Doily in
size 80 Lizbeth Summer Fun.
Have a wonderful day, and hopefully you will have tatting time!

The doily is beautiful! What a lovely thread for the second one started.
I too have been wanting to tat that one and avoid it, I think it is wonderful and love it! I have started another with chains too and they are a bugger to work with but beautiful when done Love it :)
Thank you both!!! :)
Can't wait to see your doily Madtatter80!! :)
Beautiful gift! So pretty.
Like the colours on the new start a lot. 😊
Summer fun! What a great color for the doily! Love your other one too!
Thank you both very much!!! :)
Both doilies are beautiful. I love the colors you used on the Mary Konior one. The chains are difficult to get 'just right' but you did a nice job on them. Renulek's doily looks nice in the Summer Fun colorway. I can hardly wait to see the next round!
Such cheerful colors and lovely work, I'm sure it will cheer up your friend!
Thank you Sarah!! :)
Both look lovely, I must finish up some other projects before I do another Renulek.
Thank you Bernice!! :)
I understand trying to finish up others!!
The MK doily is a sure shot winner - very cheerful. Great gift :-)
Love your choice & working on the Wiosna, too !
A lovely gift! The colours are bright and fresh and cheering. You've done a good job of blocking it into submission.
Thank you both!! :)
