2015 25 Motif Challenge # 7

It's done!!!  :)
Again, this is...Beaded Lanyard from Patti Duff
It's tatted in size 20 Lizbeth Rainbow Splash and some large beads.
I scanned it so the gray in the picture is due to having the beads keep the scanner lid from closing.
The seniors who are learning to tat are doing well.  One is making rings(we need to work on some tension), and the other is just getting the flip, but for some reason they both have troubles with the words under and over.  I thought it was simple, but they keep going the wrong direction.  Either way, they are learning!!!  :)  Hopefully I will be able to take pictures soon.
Hope you have a tatful day!!!  :)
I am off to prepare for the invasion of the granddaughters again.  :)

It turned out wonderfully! Yes, I've seen learners struggle with the under and over too, I think it's trying to think of too many things at a time that does it.

Thank you both!! :)
Jenn, I did have a tatter tell me that some people had problems with this pattern due to trouble opening rings(but I watched closely and didn't have to open any(thankfully!!!)). So I will let you know that ahead of time. I was told there was a way to make it with chains, but I wasn't given a link or anything.

That’s just great!

I’m envious of your ability to understand and replicate this technique...One of these days I am going to have to get serious about learning (again) how to attach beads in various combinations. So much to tat... : ))

Thank you Fox!! :) I had more trouble trying to figure out Jane Eborall's beaded lanyard, trying to figure out how to get the center beads in and that is why I went with this one. Some day I will try the other again and ask for help first. :)
You do so much with beads and they are all such lovely projects!!! :)
