Busy with suncatchers again. Pattern here: http://freespace.virgin.net/bo.hanson/Tatting/CrystalRing/CrystalsRing.html
I tried something different when attaching them to the bangle bracelet.
Joining while tatting is quite frustrating and hard!!!
This first one is done with size 40 Lizbeth Angels' Love, cheap kids plastic beads and a red and silver bangle bracelet.
This next is done with size 20 Lizbeth Royal Wave, cheap kids plastic beads, and a blue and silver bangle bracelet.
Sorry the scans aren't great!! And for anyone interested...I purchased the bangles at Walmart in 4 packs(I figure they are out for the 4th of July, but they work great for these so I will probably get some more).

Love these! I would love to see the outer bangle covered... Jon has a good tutorial somewhere on her site as to how to do that.
Now that you know where to put the inner joining picot, it would be totally doable - says me!
Fox : ))
Very nice!
Fox, the outer bangle covered?? Like the center ring wrapped??? I can do that just like I did on the large green suncatcher I did here: http://hiskid66.blogspot.com/2013/04/green-project-finished-and-revealed.html
But these matched the threads and I wanted them to show. I can do one with the bangle wrapped if you would like. Let me know! Glad you like these!! :)
Thank you Gwen!! :)
Your suncatchers look great and colour coordinated.
Sue, I figured you wanted the bangle colour to show because it matches. I would cover it because I love to tat over hoops!
Plus, you did a great job with the beads and colours, so I thought the outside would look great covered because I like them that way - just me!
Fox : )
Wonderful!!!
Good job!!
such beauties! I love them, and can only imagine how they sparkle in the sun.

I like your sun catchers, great idea using a bangle just got to find a thin one for the pattern.
