Suggestions needed from Experienced tatters

I am working on an edging from the Big Book of Tatting by Darlene Polachic.
The edging is on page 9 top of the page calle White Trefoil Edging.  I am wanting to use it for a hanky edging and can't seem to figure out how I should work the corners.  I am wanting to get this done by the end of this Saturday if possible,  but not knowing how I should work the corners is holding me back a bit.
Please help if you can.  Thank you!!  :)

Sue, It is hard to explain in words so do this. Take a small hand mirror - square one if you have one. Put it against the photo and angle it till you see a right angle and you will see the shape you have to tat to get the corner! It’s a lovely trick.

This one is fairly easy...

I see one ring with 8 picots on top of a another one at the bottom in the corner. You could make this larger as well... Hope this helps.

One way to figure out a corner, is to stand a small mirror (purse size with no frame works great) on the pattern set at a 45 degree angle to the direction of the edging in several places on the pattern to see what would look best as a corner.
That way you can see the edging on both sides of the corner and by moving the mirror in front of or in back of a ring or chain you can figure out a corner.

I don't have the book, so can not take a look myself.

Thank you both for the tip!! Sounds like it's a popular one. Now if I only had a small mirror...I will check to see if the daughter has one. :D
Normally I would take more time to think this through, but my brain has been consumed working on a woman's retreat which starts next Thursday and goes till Sunday(June 27-30). Tons of details to get right.
Thanks again for the tip and I will see what I can do, or I will put off the hanky till after the retreat. :)

That's the tip I would have given. I hope you're able to finish in time!

Thank you Diane, and Margaret!!! I guess that is the trick. I didn't find a mirror, but I guessed and tried my own idea and it is turning out to be a bookmark(oh well, I can use it for a gift). I do a hanky edging later. :)

It's best that you put it aside for now. Its not good to get stressed out. I'm sure you'll figure it out when you have more time. The bookmark will be appreciated!

Funny thing... after giving you advice yesterday, I had to go screaming to Frivole this morning to help me with a corner for the Frauberger Crown pattern - I just could not figure it out and I had a mirror and the pattern!

The brain does not always co-operate as it should. : ))

That's funny Fox!! I hope your edging came out an edging unlike mine which is now a beautiful bookmark which I will post when it's dry. :)
