More suncatchers and a bookmark

This suncatcher is tatted with size 40 Lizbeth Island Breeze and cheap kids plastic blue beads.
This suncatcher is tatted with size 40 Lizbeth Scottish Thistle and cheap kids plastic purple and green beads(the green beads have a slight blue hue to them, but when it the light it doesn't show as much).
And then this beautiful bookmark.  It's Hearts by Dee Powell from the book Tatted Bookmarks Needle & Shuttle.  It's tatted in size 40 Tat-ilicious HDT from Jess called Queen Anthias.  I love how beautiful it is, but I am not sure if I can use it as a bookmark, because I had to block this one to get it straight-so I wetted it down with water and pinned it to paper towel and some of the pink and purple colors bled onto the paper towel and I wouldn't want that to get on pages of books(unless they are mine forever-then no problem).  So I am thinking that this bookmark is for me.  :)

Sue, the colours are all so pretty and I really like the bookmark pattern. I think it might make an excellent edging.

Thanks Fox!! I was thinking the same thing(maybe for one of the granddaughters). :)

Oh no! :o( I will have to reevaluate my washing again.

I've tested some of them for colorfastness, but only by putting them in the washing machine attached to white clothing and then put in the drier.

Maybe pinks just really are hard to make colorfast.

Sorry Jess, just thought in case someone else had some that they might want to check first too. I was thinking of using it as an edging for something later, but I think I have to figure something else. I still love it and will use it!!! :)
Thank you Margaret!! :) Jess' colors are so beautiful!!! :)

Love, love, love your sun catchers! I think I read somewhere that you can set the colors by adding vinegar to the water when you wash, but that might be for setting the colors in swimwear. Great bookmark!

Diane, I am so glad you like the suncatchers!! :) I know they are not perfect, but pretty and that is what I am going for at the moment-working on perfecting them as I go along. Thanks for the comments!! :)
