I started a doily from a book I had borrowed from the library, but didn't get anywhere near finished when I finally had to "reluctantly" take the book back. I loved the center and kept it as a motif to be used later. Well...later finally made it and here is the motif.
It's from Traditional Tatting Patterns Edited by Rita Weiss(although, I can't remember the name of the doily), and it's tatted in size 40 Celery HDT from YarnPlayer
I decided I wanted to display it since I really love it, so I put it inside a photo coaster. Now it can sit out and not get destroyed. :)

Very nice doily, and a good idea! Love the celery.
Pretty! I love that Celery - such great greens, which unlike Lace Lovin' Librarian, Diane's fav, is more to my taste! : ))

That is the centre from the cobweb doily in the Traditional Tatting Paterns book. I also love that green. Have spent the afternoon reading your blog posts and really enjoy seeing all your work.
