This is another Elaine P. Gan design. It's only the center so far. It will be a doily when finished(a small doily I think). I saw the design and saw the "flowers" pop out at me. She tatted it in a single color, but I just have to make the flowers show!!! :)
This is tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Tropical Punch, and size 40 Yarnplayer's HDT Celery.
I have also been working on one of the very long tatted Christmas garlands for my friend
(this one and 1 more to finish). And I have several crosses that need to be tatted soon hopefully!! :)
Have an awesome night and I hope it was tatful!! :)

This is gorgeous Sue :). Love how well the 2 variegated colours go together to make the flowers stand out. I'm doing mine in 2 solid colours :). Similar but not quite the same as yours :).
OOOOh! Delightful!
This is beautiful I love mixing the variegated colors like this it is beautiful! is this a new book she has or separate patterns? Off hand I can't remember?
Gorgeous, simply gorgeous !
So glad you decided to go with the flower trellis/garland look . And amazingly (or deliberately?), the colourway has produced alternating yellow & pink flowers .
I took one look at this and thought 'Mary Konior'. It's a sort of mix of Convolvulus and Wallflowers in two of her books. LOVE Mary Konior for her simplicity.
Ooh, that's sweet! Yes, using two colours shows the design up well.
That's lovely!
I like the way the flowers pop! Great color choice! I look forward to seeing the rest of the doily.
Thank you so much everyone!!! :)
Jenn, can't wait to see yours!! :)
Jane Eborall, I kind of thought the same thing. :)
Oops, muskaan, I wanted to say that I had noticed that the colors had organized themselves alternating also and was wondering while tatting it if it would continue and it did!! :)
Lovely pattern, and I like your colours
Margaret
Madtatter80, I missed telling you that I think this new design might be for another book. I haven't heard yet, but I will let you know as soon as I find out. :)
Oh this is adorable!!! I love it!
Thank you Michelle!! :)
Fantastic color choices & beautifully tatted.
Gobsmacked by your talent - I enjoy visiting your site as each post is so inspiring ; )
Very pretty. It reminds me of some of Mary Konior's patterns. The flowers stand out beautifully.
Thank you both very much!!! :)
Very pretty colours you've chosen. I am looking forward to see the entire doily.
Thank you Susanne!!! :)
I love Mary Konoir, but this pattern came out of amother piece that I was tatting free form. If I only have a tenth of Konoir's creativity.
You are extremely talented and created Elaine!!! I love your designs!! :)
I love this, Elaine! Hope to see you soon at T.T.
