I kind of caught up to Fox!! :)

Sewing in ends and blocking is next.

Snow White.

This was one of last year's challenge pieces.

Sewing and blocking have to wait just a bit, 

because I have several other things to do for ministry 

work and housework.  Not to mention more work at 

my mom's house.

2017 25 Motif Challenge # 4

This is Winter Rose Snowflake by Elaine P. Gan.

It's another test tat.

Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Tropical Punch.

Needs blocking, but it's my favorite!!

I had to use a different color than the last 2 

due to our daughter teasing me that I was 

tatting "yellow" snow.  Crazy kid.

Well, this would be # 5, but I forgot to scan 

the cross I finished Sunday(I don't have the 

computer on Sundays so I forgot).  It was 

tatted for a sweet new addition to our Sunday 

night senior group.  She isn't doing well- she 

has cancer and I just wanted her to know she 

is loved.  She was so surprised and said she 

loves it.  I am pleased!  :)

2017 25 Motif Challenge #2

Introducing Stellar Snowflake!

It's a test tat for Elaine P. Gan again.

I tatted it in size 40 Lizbeth Pineapple Parfait.

I tatted this last night late and finished it 

around midnight.

I have 2 more to test tat.

I may have a cross done today.

Still tatting along on the Spring Doily from last year

Making some progress to help relieve stress.

I am in the final stretch(and yes, it's a stretch.  I 

try to tat 1 repeat at a time, and then another if I 

can.  I love the beauty of this pattern and can't 

wait till it's finished and blocked!

Stress relief is needed because tomorrow we start 

the process of going through my mom's house.  

Looks like I am getting the large furniture, but I 

live in a small place and am not sure where to put it 

with what I already have.  Either way, I am not just 

letting it all go.  Then we have to decide which each 

of us kids want(pretty much done already), and then 

all the grandchildren get a chance.  

I am so thankful I have tatting to "escape" into.

2017 25 Motif Challenge #1 Heidi Cross

This is the Heidi Cross from Tatted Bookmarks-

cross-shaped by Lene Bjorn.

It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Scottish Thistle.

This was a challenge because it has a "new to me" 

technique-Josephine knots.  I think I did ok, but 

I need to work on getting the first one closer to the 

previous ring and not to leave bare thread there, and 

to work on closing them better-slower is better!!!

I flunked in my 2016   25 Motif Challenge.  I 

am starting a 2017   25 Motif Challenge.

Spring Doily coming toward the end(waiting for Fox to catch up) :)

Hi everyone!!  Happy New Year to everyone!!! 

Thank you to all those who send prayers and 

well wishes for my mom.  

While she was in the hospital I got a little tatting 

done, and some since then.  I think I only have 

about 1/4 left to go.  I am waiting for Fox to 

catch up so we can both end at the same time.  :)
