Treble Tatting Video

As per a reminder from muskaan, I am posting
a link to a video I have posted in Just-Tatting on 

Facebook, that I made as to how to do Ninetta's Treble 

Tatting.  I used size 3 Lizbeth thread and did my 

best to show the steps clearly.  It won't let me upload 

it to blogger, so our daughter is going to help me 

figure out how to get it on Youtube and then try 

again(later).  ;)

I used it to tat this doily which I will do my best 

to discipline myself and get the pattern together 

for those who are adventurous and would like to 

try it!!!  ;)

Below in the front.

I used Lizbeth size 40.  If you print the pattern 

you will be able to see what size this is, it's 

almost the exact same size as the pictures.

 Below is the back.  I think it's "reversible".

I actually have one person asking me to make 

her one in purple.  ;)
I think I NEED several of these in different 

colors!!  ;)

Justification Cross

This is an Elaine P. Gan cross.

Test tatting again

Elaine P. Gan allowed us to test tat again.  This is 

actually supposed to be a hexagon shaped doily, 

but....I love this look!!!! 

So, I sewed in the ends and left it as is.  ;)
I realized it could be a variety of shapes- a diamond 

if you add a motif to each end, a square if joined 

differently, and I am sure endless other possibilities!

I wanted an autumn doily and now I have one!!!  :)

Tat-a-Renda's Threads that Bind Doily(14 Day Challenge Doily) Completed

I have enjoyed joining Tat-a-Renda on her doily!!!
I used size 40 Joy from AlenAlea and Lizbeth Lilac Dk.
It's measures 11 3/8in. from flower point to flower point.

 It still needs to be blocked!!!
I designed the last row myself.  I wanted some of 

hand dyed thread in it, but there was very little left 

so I just did the 4 flowers(wish there was enough 

for 8).  ;)

I am currently working on test tatting another doily 

and have 6 motifs to add to it, then sew in ends and 

I can then get a picture of it.  ;)

This is Tat-a-Renda's 14 Day Challenge Doily recently 

renamed Threads that Bind Doily.
Now I have to see if my brain will work and try to 

design a final row for it.
I am not sure I can do justice after seeing so many 

truly awesome ones already!!!  ;)

I delivered the 10 crosses I had tatted 

for the Health Clinic volunteers and they 

seemed thrilled with them.  ;)

It's Virtual Tollway Tatter's Day!!! :)

Since it's "impossible" to meet right now for Tollway 

Tatters, I figured we should get a picture of us tatting 

in our Tie-dye shirts today and post them on the facebook 

page.  So, I thought I would share the picture here too.

Oh, that "mess" next to me is all tatting related, except 

the saucer plate for my cocoa.  ;)  Yep, it's organized 

chaos(as my sister calls it).  I guess I should "clean" it 

up......ummmm...probably not happening soon.  ;)

at my appointment Thursday I will be 

surprising them with the crosses.  I 

will also be finding out how many more 

I need since I have around 10.

working on-it takes tons of my

I am still working on Tat-a-Renda's

Something new in my life-since we 

have the stay at home orders I can't 

be teaching my Sunday groups so we 

have started going "LIVE" on facebook 

for those who have internet and facebook, 

and I am recording cassette tapes(yep, old 

school) for the seniors who don't have the 

internet.  Lots and lots of changes and some 

struggles, but I am thankful that God is still 

in control!!!  :)
