A Spring Ice Drop and a Bracelet

This is Diane's Minty Fudge pattern slightly
modified with "leaves" joining it to the ring.
I had the center Ice Drop done originally,
but accidentally cut a picot and could not
fix it so I cut it off and started again, only
break the thread when closing the final ring
around the gem, so on to try # 3 and here it
is.  :)
Size 40 Lizbeth Rainbow Taffy and Lime
Green Med. with yellow seed beads, and
a yellow bangle bracelet.
And after the first two frustrations with the above
suncatcher, Sunday I took a break and tatted
Wandering Blooms bracelet by Dawn McLaughlin,
pattern link here:
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Raspberry Frappe with
pink seed beads.
Have a wonderful day of tatting!! :)

Just bracelets today

I have made this bracelet before(one just like the bottom one). It's called the Wandering Blooms Bracelet and the pattern is here: http://web.archive.org/web/20051201013809/www.georgiaseitz.com/2005/dmcbracelet.pdf
I don't make it just like the one on the pattern, but it's close and from the pattern.
The top one is done in Lizbeth size 20 Black.
And this one is done in a HDT from Tatskool. It's Coral Reef size 40.

Lots of tatting and updates and 2012 25 Motif Challenge #4

First to start are 5 pairs of Christmas trees to fill my orders(minus the one for my granddaughter which I need special earrings and to alter the tree pattern and make it smaller).
Next is my Motif #4 Valentine Earring(s)-I only made one today. The pattern is here:
Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Christmas red with clear glass beads.

I also made 3 more rainbow crosses so I have some in stock for when my mother-in-law wants more.
Next is a bracelet for my mother-in-law's birthday next week. It's the Wandering Blooms bracelet(slightly modified). The pattern is here: http://web.archive.org/web/20051201013809/http://www.georgiaseitz.com/2005/dmcbracelet.pdf
Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Royal Blue.
Update on the tablecloth for my husband. Still making slow progress, but at least it's happening. I laid it across the table for this picture, but it will go lengthwise when actually finished. I didn't plan on the empty circles, but without any pattern things happen. My husband is happy either way.
Needing a change of design and color I tried this doily with a size 10 Aunt Lydia's crochet thread. The color name is Passionata and it looked to me almost like an autumn rainbow on the spool, but.....I wasn't quite as thrilled when seeing it worked up, but it's nice for a color change and to try this doily-which will be done again in better colors(hopefully!). :) The doily pattern is Sidekick from Elegant Tatting Patterns by Janet Carroll.
I needed a little more tatting organized storage and so...I was ok'd to buy this. And it's almost full already. :)

And my favorite thing to show tonight!!!! New Bright and Beautiful Threads from Jess at http://jess-tats.blogspot.com/

2011: 25 Motif Challenge- Motif #4

Hi Everyone! Yes, I have been here and have been tatting. I have a friend(who knits) who had told me the other day that there was no way she could work on so many different projects like I have been doing. I tried to work on just one and realized that I need a constant change in color and design or I get bored too easy.
I have this beautiful new thread from Tatskool. It's Coral Reef size 40. I started a doily with this thread, but the center just curved so badly that it fits a glass ornament beautifully(which will be another project), and then I started a motif with it and just could not get it right from the start. I don't know why, but I had to make something with this thread. Then, I saw this pattern for the Wandering Blooms Bracelet by Dawn McLaughlin here: http://web.archive.org/web/20051201013809/www.georgiaseitz.com/2005/dmcbracelet.pdf
and decided to give it a try. It worked!!!
It's a little different than the original(less beads, and a jump ring and lobster claw clasp), but it's still awesome(I think!). I am stunned at the elegance of it. I kinda of named it a little differently.....I named this one Coral Waves. :)

Oh....and for those wondering, I have been working on all the other projects a little at a time.
Fox, you asked about the tablecloth...I have been working on it. It is about 13 inches and 34 motifs on it right now. I know it will take quite some time, but my husband is too excited and keeps encouraging me to work on it when I can. He says he doesn't want me to get sick of it so just work on it when I feel it's right. I will show it again when it gets a bit larger.
