No, thankfully it's not snowing here.
The title refers to another one of Robin Perfetti's
snowflakes called First Snowfall, link here:
it's getting ready to become another ornament cover.
You really ought to check out her other beautiful
patterns. :) This one is tatted in size 40 Lizbeth
Snow White and is the same size as the picture on
the printed pattern(amazing!). And I added some
other items for size comparison. The next one will
have the center rings omitted for the top of the ornament.
And below is my show model! Isn't this the most
adorable colored bunny?? There was a Build-a-Bear
ad on my facebook(the only add worth looking at)
with the cutest colored stuffed animals, and this little
bunny was in front. I told our daughter about it and
she immediately ordered it for me(without me knowing,
so.....Saturday I was "bouncing" around with joy over
owning this adorable little bunny!!! :)
So, now I have 2 Build-a-Bear characters:
Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer, and this
Bunny(gotta name it yet!). :)
Have a wonderful day tatting!!! :)

That cute bunny would make a Gorgeous colourway !!!
Love the snowflake
Going to be another lovely ornament! I thought you were having a late snowfall!
Pretty pattern - I didn't have it. Thank you! 😊
Hopefully we're done with snow! Can't wait to see how this ornament turns out!
Thank you all so much!!! :)
Jane, I think we are done with snow for this year, but in Michigan you never know! :)
muskaan, I totally agree about the colorway and I might just have to find someone who dyes threads and ask them if they would do this for me. :)
Your ornament is beautiful and a reminder of how pretty Robin's patterns are.
Thank you Madtatter80!! :)
Another gorgeous ornament coming up,
Beautiful bunny
No snow here in Monterey. Plenty of rain this year though! I suggest Lashy for the bunny. Although if you're talking about the cutie, you may have to insist you haven't been into the Sauce.
Thank you both!!! :)
picotsnkeys thank you for the name suggestion! As for the Sauce, never touch the stuff. ;)
Robin's snowflakes are amazing, and they do indeed make great toppers for ball ornaments!
Your bunny is SO cute! So glad to know another 'grown up' person can get all giddy about stuffed animals. I have to walk with blinders on past displays of all stuffed animals! I still have my 12" high Easter bunny ("Carrots") from 1953(!) - although it's in sad shape. And DH gave me Larry Lion (a 'Yacker' from Mattel) when I was 24 - and I let very few kids pull his 'chain'. He's in very good shape and I still smile when I look at him and hear him talk. I have teddy bears in every room, and I just bought another small bunny that I tried to put back but couldn't! (Wanted it for my tatting display). And my brother-in-law might not get back his large 'Energizer Bunny' with sandals, sunglasses and drum, which he gave to me for safe-keeping, as his wife likes a clutter-free house! The Build-A-Bear idea was ingenious! I've resisted them so far, but I marvel at the variety of animals and clothes!
Thank you so much Kathy!!! :) Actually I have a stuffed animal collection which contains my favorite: Tigger! And lots of others, but no place to display them currently. And, I have my other favorite collection Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer which is on our headboard of our bed year round(maybe I will get a picture to share). :) I also have tons of TY Beanie characters and my favorite are the newer Beanie Boos with the large eyes!!! :)
Sounds like you have quite the collection too!! :)
Beautiful snowflake
Beautiful colored Bunny and your Snowflake too!!!
Thank you both!! :)
Funny how the snowflake ended up the same size as the print out. It looks really cute next to the bunny! I didn't know build a bear had things other than bears.
Yes Robin, it's pretty close to exact. Thank you!!! :) Build-a-Bear has all kinds of cute animal characters: cats, dogs, bunnies, bears, and from time to time limited editions like my Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer, and our daughter's Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. And more clothing and accessories than you could possibly imagine!!
That's a really pretty snowflake of Robin's, nicely done. I like her designs very much.
Thank you Frivole!!! :) I really like tatting this one!!
