Wow!!! I am still tatting and still inspired!!!

After little sleep due to a mouse invasion(it's been 

happening for a few weeks now-exterminator coming 

tomorrow!!!!!!) and a doctor's appointment, I came 

home and just sat and searched aimlessly online.  I was 

looking at tatting, but saw a picture of a beaded snow-

flake and was inspired to recreate it in tatting.

It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Snow White with tiny 

blue beads.

Picture below is the inspiration.

It's the size of my pointer finger tip.

And the size of an American penny.

I need to buy more tiny blue beads, because these 

are almost out, but this brand 

is no longer so I have to find new ones.

A New Doodad tatting design

I just picked up one of my snowflake doodads and 

just started tatting.  I wasn't happy with it, but it's 

ok and my hubby and daughter like it!!  :)

Thought I might make you laugh or giggle a bit!

Ok, so what you see here are several of our gift 

wrapping items.  Notice a theme???

And a new snowflake throw(I have 3 already).

Now, I know you are wondering how that would 

make you laugh or giggle....well, our 

daughter(30yrs old) says that every time she sees 

snowflakes now, she sees tatting.  :D
I think that is pretty neat!!!  :)

A doodad Starflake and Tatted Button Ornaments

I have been tatting for me lately(other than Diane's 

temptation of button ornaments-I love her designs!). 

I came across my "snowflake" doodads and decided 

to try and design a new and larger snowflake than the 

ones I did back when doodads were popular.  Well, 

It's larger and I love how the star shape matches the 

star design in the center of the doodad!!!  :)
I am calling it a Starflake since it's more of a star 

than a snowflake.  ;)

Glutton for Punishment

Yes, that is kind of what I have named this Pop Top 

Ice Drop.  :)
Round and Round we go is another good name!!!
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Lime Green Med.
My own design.  I love the look, just wish each row of 

my chains were all even.  I made them to gradually 

go down a size to give a slight swirl effect.  The 

chains on the left side show best what I was hoping 

for.

Crystal Ice Ice Drop and Snowflake

I wanted a snowflake Ice Drop and decided to just 
try and tat one.
I came up with this and I call it the Crystal Ice 
Ice Drop.
It's tatted in size 40 Libeth Bright Blue Lt. 

And then I wanted to see it just as a snowflake.

Crystal Ice Ice Drop (***in size 40***) by Sue Bradham

Ch =chain

j =join

- =small picot

-- =large picot to join 5 rings to

SCMR =self closing mock ring

Repeat for 6 rings and tat last chain joining to the base of the first ring.

Do NOT cut thread.

Repeat from star to the next to last  ring and insert Ice Drop gem, and tat final ring and chain and join to the base of first ring.

(Outer points)

Ch 12 j to picot on outer chain.

Ch 10 RW

R 1-1(**hard to close!)

Ch 8, SCMR 4-4, Ch 8 join to tiny R.

Ch 10 j to same picot as the first chain on outer chain of Ice Drop.

Ch 12 j to base of ring on Ice Drop.

Repeat all the way around.
