A necklace pendant

I found this beautiful pendant and it
called for some tatting.  My photo isn't
good, but it does look good in person.
I used size 40 Lizbeth Falling Leaves
and tiny black beads.
The pendant is a very thin metal.
Below it's on my fingers to show size.
I will add a chain when possible.
Oh, the cross is lost.  I went to give it to the lady
and she wasn't here so I tucked it into the zippered
part of my purse and somehow it disappeared.  I
guess that means I need to tat another one.
Good news, they are excavating the land we bought
and the mobile home is being built, and there was
other land to sell and it's already on the market and
getting phone calls.  I am seeing a miracle happen!
Will keep you posted.
Have an awesome tatting day!!! :)

Re-tatted Row 9

The chains are much better and have that arch!!
Well, I am trying to empty shuttles again and I saw
that the center of the doily would go well into a bangle
suncatcher, but I don't have clear purple beads(some
on order), so it's just a hanging decoration.
And, while trying to empty shuttles, I also have
a possible necklace pendant all from the center
of the doily design.  ;)
Hope your day is going well, and you are getting
some tatting in!! ;)

Another test tat

This is another Elaine P. Gan design.  It is a necklace pendant.
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Boysenberry Dk. with tiny gold beads.
In the picture the thread looks like it has white on it or in it, but it doesn't.  I believe it's the scanner light causing that look.  Otherwise, this looks so elegant and amazing!!!  :)
I started a new doily.  It's pretty basic, but it's large and I am hoping to have it done for my mother-in-law and her husband for Christmas this year.
I also have a question for the experts...... the doily I wanted to do is in the book Traditional Tatting Patterns edited by Rita Weiss.  It's on pages 36 & 37.  I want to tat the large doily(which is slightly hidden in the picture by something sitting on top of it, but even with the small one I have a question for both.  I would like to tat this with 2 colors so that the star will be one color and the rest of the doily another, but since the star is tatted in small sections throughout the doily I can't seem to figure out how(or if) this can be done.  I hope I explained this well.  If anyone knows the answers please let me know.  Thank you all very much!!!  :)
Have a wonderful day and happy tatting to those who get the opportunity to tat!!!  :)

2012 25 Motif Challenge: Motif #9

I tatted this necklace pendant from a pattern I found online. It's designed by Nami, but I cannot find the pattern link for some reason, but I have a link to her blog with a gold one she did, but there isn't a pattern there:http://namiart.blogspot.com/2011/05/wisiorek-dla-asi-pendant-for-asia.html . If I find it I will post it. :) Oh, this is Lizbeth size 20 black thread.
Here is the link: http://namiart.blogspot.com/2010/07/kolejny-schemat-one-more-pattern.html
Thank you Nami!! :)
And today I tatted this heart(not counted in my challenge)from
There is a mistake that I repeated after making the first incorrect join, but it seems to be ok. I am planning on making the correct version and doing the whole bookmark-later. :) This is Lizbeth size 40 Christmas Red thread.
