Rainbow in the Clouds suncatcher

I had an idea and decided to tat it and
see.  I thought white with rainbow beads
would look great and it does, so I call it
Rainbow in the Clouds-white clouds  with
a rainbow of beads.  ;)
Again, it's Elaine P. Gan's Cathedral Doily-
the first 13 rows of her doily, and it's tatted
in size 40 Lizbeth Snow White with seed
beads.
I have a regular Rainbow suncatcher in
progress and thousands of things swirling
in my head while several project sitting
unfinished.....some day, some time.  ;)
Hope you are having a great week!!
Getting some tatting time in!  :)

Suncatcher time

I had an order for a rainbow suncatcher
so it's done and gone.
This one is a bit different, but then again,
so far I think only 2 are the same.  ;)
And, I wanted to tat one of my acrylic
"donuts" into the center of a suncatcher.
I went simple and I really like how it
turned out.
Both suncatchers are tatted in size 40
Lizbeth threads. The one below is Sea
Island Citrus.
I hope you all have a wonderful week
and get your tatting in!! :)

It's another 8 inch suncatcher.
I really like how it turned out.
I need to try other colors!!!  :D
Hope you are having a great day filled
with love and tatting!!! :)

These are for my sister and my in-laws.
I made one several years back and loved it and
had planned on making me one and yet now I
have made 3 and not one is mine.
They are 8 inch suncatchers.

The design is Elaine P. Gan's Cathedral
I used all Lizbeth size 40 thread.
The colors are:  Christmas Red, Bright Orange,
Bright Yellow, Christmas Green,
Bright Blue Dk., and Purple Dk.
And lots and lots of 11/0 Preciosa Ornela glass beads.

Still working on Christmas tree earrings.
Hope you have a wonderful tatting filled day!!! :)

Another large tatted suncatcher yet to be received

Here is another large suncatcher gift, yet to be
received.  We didn't have Christmas due to
many circumstances, so the tatted gifts I
completed are still waiting to be given.
The link to the details for this one are here:
I had to be more creative to make this one work
because I used hand-dyed thread and couldn't
afford to have to cut and throw away mistakes, so
I just "forced" things to work.
Have a beautiful tatting time today!!!  :)

This is a large suncatcher I created for a dear
friend for Christmas-who has yet to receive it,
since we didn't have Christmas this year.
A view in the window.
To get all the details go here:
This year there will be more on that blog page(hopefully).
Have a wonderful Saturday with lots of tatting hopefully!!!  :)

Green project finished and revealed!! :)

This is my green project-a large green suncatcher.  It is 8 inches across.  The center is the first 5 rounds from a pattern called Exquisite Luncheon Set in the book Tatting Doilies & Edgings edited by Rita Weiss.
It's tatted in Yarnplayer's HDT Celery size 10 and 4mm Peridot Bicone beads.
This will be gifted to a friend at the end of June.  I can't wait to see her response!!!  :)

Green project continues to grow.

Still working on my green gift!!  And my smaller secret projects too!  :)

Had this outer round finished last night and almost cried when I actual calmed down from the excitement of getting this round done, and found out that I had missed a join.  I cut out the section up to the missed picot and had to tie all the threads together and hide 4 ends and try and finish it again.  Let me just say, that I was too upset last night after cutting, that it sat all night and I worked on it today and finished that round again.  :)
