Preparing for the Craft Show in Oct.

Photography is not my talent.  I love taking
pictures, but they don't seem as wonderful as
when others take them.
I wanted to show the 4 colors of angels I have.
Lizbeth Summer Fun, Cotton Candy,
Tropical Punch, and Blue Ice.
I currently have 5 angels ready.
I bought artificial wreaths years ago to add tatting
to, but have procrastinated A LOT!!!
Well, the garland was done a long time ago,
the snowflakes on and off a long time ago,
the snowman were bought when the wreath was,
and I just got the ribbon for the bow.
I am second guessing the bow now.  The blues are
so different, yet all the blues are different.
I made the bow yesterday.
Hoping you can see all the little pieces.
Any opinions on the bow??  Should I look for
another blue ribbon that could be a better match??
The wall is actually cream colored, but the sun is
coming through the blinds to the left of this and
I can't get better pictures.

Have a wonderful day and hopefully some tatting
too!!!  :)

Tatting....

I had an idea and wanted to have it for a Christmas
greeting here, but as you can tell it didn't happen.
I wanted to tat my own idea of a wreath.
Here is what I have-I quit and will try to improve
it later!!!  It looks ok, but doesn't lay as I want it to.
It's size 40 Lizbeth Christmas Green with 3 different
sized picots randomly tatted along.  I wanted the it
to look like pine needles of various sizes.  I like the
look but my chains aren't correct, and I should have
had lots more seed beads and in more colors.
The decorations on the wreath came from the package
pictured below.  I got it to make earrings out of those
tiny cookie cutters, and I thought those tiny buttons
would be great decorations for the wreath idea-which
as you see I added a bead to the top of for a little sparkle.
I found a small motif I tatted(not sure what it was for)
and thought it would make a great back for an Ice
Drop-yep it does.  This is the front using my regular
size 40 stitch count from Diane's basic Ice Drop.
And this is the motif.  Pretty huh?  I love it!!
I think I might try to figure out the stitch count
and see if I can make others in better colors!!!
Hope you are having a wonderful tatting filled day!!  :)
