Another motif(this one just finished)

This is a motif from the Lavender & Lace table set in the book Tatting Doilies & Edgings edited by Rita Weiss.
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Royal Blue.
This sure could use blocking!!!
All these motifs have been due to a search for small items to put in photo coasters, but the angel, the star of leaves, and this motif are all too large to fit in the coasters(some just slightly).  Oh well, the search is still on.  :)

Thank you so much Fox!!! I will tell you that I did have some problems with it, but with a post from Allison here:http://tattingfarmchick.blogspot.com/2011/06/tatting-hint.html
I made it through it!!! :)
Guess that tells you I had to open a few rings. :D

Hello!
My name is Rita and I am a bit new to tatting. I am currently working on the Lavender & Lace motif on page 43 of Tatting Doilies & Edgings edited by Rita Weiss. I just finished row 1 and am now trying to start row 2. If you could explain how you accomplished this great astronomical feat, I would be forever grateful. Thank you!

Hi Rita, Believe it or not this is just rings and chains. I can't seem to find my book right now, but I believe I started with a ring I am guessing the first ring of a corner section, then the chain and the "clover" of 3 rings, then a chain, then the next ring, then chain with the first picot, then chain and join to the center piece, then chain and join to the center piece, then chain picot chain. Then work on from there, but pay close attention to where you are joining!!! :) I am sure you can get it. Please let me know if this helps or if you need more help! There are other tatters far more qualified than me, but I am willing and will do my best to help. I will keep looking for my book and see if I can figure it out better. Have a great day and I can't wait to see your tatting!!! :) I don't have Google+ so I have no clue how to access those pages. Have a great day!!! Sue
