Another finished Christmas gift. :)

This is another(tatted) Christmas gift for my mother-in-law.  It has been an experience trying to tat motifs that would fit in these coaster.  And I wouldn't recommend these coasters(from Bed Bath and Beyond store). The back of one has fallen off twice and I have re-glued it both times.  I am going to let my mother-in-law know that I will replace the coasters if they fall apart at anytime.
These motifs have all been shown on my blog already.

Not good if they fall apart but the motifs inside look fantastic against the black

It's too bad that they've fallen apart because they are quite lovely!

This is such a great idea, and you have a nice variety of tatted motifs here! I guess these coasters were made for photos and can't handle the extra thickness of tatting (even if done in size 80), which always frustrates me! There are the acrylic coasters made specifically for needlework, but you still have to make sure they can accommodate tatted pieces. A piece of clear tape might hold more securely. They make clear round stickers that might not be too noticeable?

Thanks for all the compliments!! :)
Only one has fallen apart and that was while I was inserting the tatting and it was loose already so I think it's just poor quality in the product. These are photo coasters and I have another two sets I did with some I bought from Hobby Lobby and they work wonderfully, so I may have to find some more of those, or search for the acrylic ones. Either way my mother-in-law won't be disappointed cuz' she looks for an excuse to have my tatting. :) These will be added to the 2 shirts I have done for her. :)
Oh, and I see what was said about black backgrounds: they are actually mirror like. :)
