The first 2 are the Hope cross from Elaine's new book Tatting Patterns 4
The first is tatted in Yarnplayer's Adventurer HDT size 40, and the second is in the same thread, but with 2 strands tatted together at the same time. I wanted a cross for men and this is a challenging cross, but I love the design!!! I didn't do it justice, but I did my best!
Here is a comparison picture of the Hope crosses with my hand. I needed a quick way to show the size. I feel that men would prefer something less dainty in size so with the 2 strands together I achieved that. I tried to line the color up together, but I did it at night with house lights on and it doesn't work well. Either way, I think men will like it. :)
Next is Robin Perfetti's Priscilla Cross link here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8R5ZNar0YDdV0t4N21JMmhHaEU/edit
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Purple Iris Fusion. It's a gift for the lady who wrote on her webpage(years ago) about tatting which got me searching to see what tatting was and is now one of my favorite things to do!!! :)
Oh, this cross is about the same size as the large men's cross, just wider.

Of course, I have ends to sew in, but I am taking a break. And, I have more to do on the triangle cross. :) I have more crosses to tat, and several other projects which need to get done!!!
Happy tatting everyone!!! :)

Oh that Hope is much lovelier than I thought! Now I have to try it too!
Michelle, I think there may be some errors in the diagram, and the pattern is slightly confusing, but like I said, I really like the design and I did my best. I am going to contact Elaine about my thoughts and see if I am wrong. Can't wait to see yours!! :)
Very beautiful crosses & love the colorway in both ! Great job & very inspiring :-)
Lovely crosses. Interesting how the size has changed with different size thread.
Three beautiful crosses, yes I agree a man would need a larger cross than a lady, they are not that dainty
Margaret
You always tat such beautiful crosses! I think men will definitely like the larger one.
Thank you so much everyone!! :)
Your stitches are perfect. Wonderfull tatting, Sue.
Funny, I just finished one of Jon's covered rings using two #80s together to resemble #30. Works well!.
: )
Beautiful crosses. Your Priscella cross turned out great. I also like the design of the Hope cross and it's probably the next thing I'm going to tat.
Ditto to all of the above! Elaine's cross is an excellent design and looks gorgeous in that thread color in both sizes!
And it's amazing how Robin can draw a computer design and translate it into tatting! .
I'm sure they both appreciate your excellent tatting of their designs!
Thank you Fox!! I saw the covered ring and it looks great!!! :)
Thank you mb duke!! :) As I said in my comment earlier, I think there might be some errors at least on the diagram of the Hope Cross specifically on the left arm section.
Thanks Kathy!! :) I am amazed at all the designers and how awesome all the designs are!! :)
I almost missed this post! You've done a great job on all of them. I didn't know that it was possible to tat with multiple strands of thread, or that it would make the finished product that much larger. I keep looking at your photos of the Hope cross, trying to figure out the order in which the rings and chains are tatted. Not to copy the pattern, but that technique would have come in handy for a design I have been working on.
Hi Robin, Actually I have messed this pattern up in some spots. I hope you figure out what you need to finish your project!! :)
well I know how frustrating it can be when pattern is missing something, Ido love the colors you have picked and hope you can work this out.
Thank you Madtatter80!! :)
I will get it!! :)
Gorgeous crosses :).
Thank you Jenn!! :)
