Rescued tatting

Moving my father-in-law out of his apartment to
assisted living and came across a box of "junk"
and on the top was a crumpled lace piece.  When
I picked it up and looked, I realized it was tatting.
As far as I know I am the only tatter they knew, and
my father-in-law thought I had tatted this, but I did
not.  I have never seen the piece before.  It is pretty
and my hubby wants me to clean and block it and
keep it now. ;)
I am thinking it could be a size 20 thread.
It's very light weight.
Here is a close-up of the center.
I am not sure if I have seen the pattern before.
If anyone knows, please inform me. ;)

Now, this is my tatting.  It's for our daughter's
roommate. Our daughter said she would like a
personalize ornament of their cats, and I thought
this would be more special.

Also, I tatted another My Portion Cross from
Elaine P. Gan for a friend:

And today I just tatted in size 40 the holly leaves
and added red beads for the berries.  I think
these will make great holiday earrings.

Have a wonderful start to your new year and
happy New Year tatting!! :)
