I have gone back to the HDT for now and will 

use it until I run out, or until the doily ends-I think 

I will run out first.  ;)

I am enjoying this and I love seeing all the different

I am enjoying tatting along with Tat-a-Renda.  She 

is coming up with a beautiful, simple doily design.

I hope you are all having a wonderful day and getting 

tatting in while having to stay home.

Yesterday I got plenty of tatting done, and even some today

Yesterday I finished a cross that I have 

been working on(it's been a challenge, 

mostly all split rings and just a diagram 

to follow).  I LOVE it!!!

 Next, I also finished day 4 of Tat-a-Renda's 14 Day 

Challenge Doily.

And, I did some test tatting and haven't finished yet, 

and I also added 2 more motifs to my tablecloth.

Today:

We woke up to 2 inches of snow which fell over-

night.

 It looked wonderful and bright, but by afternoon 

we were back to brown and boring.  :)

Today I have worked on the test tatting again, 

but the thread broke so it's sitting and waiting.

And, I did get day 5 done on the 14 Day Challenge 

Doily by Tat-a-Renda.

I am concerned the HDT won't make it the full 14 

days, so I added size 40 Lizbeth Lilac Dk. 

And, our state has ordered us to stay home now, 

so lots of Bible study, tatting, and in-home walking 

workouts, besides housework will be happening.

I have had to set up a facebook page for our Sunday 

Night Seniors who have internet to keep in touch, 

and I have to record our lessons on cassette tape 

and bring them to them to pass from person to person 

so they can still hear the Bible lessons which they are 

craving now that they have no real contact with anyone 

since their senior apartment complex in lockdown.

So many in tears and it breaks my heart, but I keep 

praying this will end very soon!!!

Went to get a prescription filled so as not to run 

out during this time of chaos and because we 

don't know when jobs will resume since last night 

both my hubby and our daughter are laid off for 

and undetermined amount of time, and things were 

kind of crazy out there.  There are bare shelves in 

stores, and tons and tons of people in the stores not 

seeming too worried about being with more than 10 

people at all.  We got what we could and what we 

thought would hold us over a bit.  Praying for this 

to be over soon!!!

Every reindeer needs a little tatted bling!!!

Our daughter got me this adorable reindeer 

named Peppermint several years back.

It's wonderful, but there was a plain white 

space around the neck and in front and I 

felt it needed some tatting, sparkle, and a

little jingle!!!!

I just made it up.

I am almost done with another cross, but I have to 

take out 2 rings and a chain and re-tat!!  ;)

My Portion Cross(I think it's my favorite cross design)

I need another cross for another senior so 

I tatted My Portion Cross from Elaine P. Gan 

book #4.  Tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Pineapple 

Parfait.  The picture doesn't show the beautiful 

sunny color!!  I know this senior lives on the 

northside of the apartment complex and I thought 

she could use a "sunny" bright cross.  ;)

You will most likely be seeing more crosses 

soon because I have a month to tat up as many 

as I can for a bunch of wonderful volunteers  

who work at this health clinic I had to go to.

They treated me with such care and respect that 

I thought they deserve to be shown that I really 

appreciate it.  I have another appointment next 

month and I want to thank them with crosses.  ;)

A one and only Mermaid sleeve

Our daughter wanted a Mermaid sleeve.  She has 

only one because she has tattoos on her other arm 

and she wanted color on this arm(thankfully she asked 

for the sleeve instead of more tattoos-which I know 

are coming at some point).

 It's laced from top to center, and from bottom to 

center in 2 laces(per her request).  It looks good on 

her and she will be wearing it this weekend.

Mermaid bracelets ready to go

Our daughter is a pirate/mermaid(don't ask).  They 

are having an event this weekend and have requested 

some of my tatting for their vending table.
So, I made several "chunky" bracelets, and she has 

some of the teardrop earrings I tatted, and a few 

suncatchers, and these mermaid bracelets.

 They remind me of sand and mermaids.

Below shows that they are laced like a corset with 

ribbon on the backs.
