Just finished!!!

Just a reminder picture of the necklace.

I sewed in the ends, added a toggle clasp 

and ring, plus butterflies on the pendant

(pictured in the bottom picture).

 The earrings are done and findings added.

I would have a picture of the whole set, but my 

computer memory card reader erased the pictures 

twice, so we will deal with these.

 Here you can see the butterflies on the pendant.

these have come from that thread.  This is the Birthday

Just some things

I found more colors of Ice Drop gems at our Walmart 

today for only 97 cents each, so...I have more variety.

 I have been working on tatting for the earrings to 

go with the pink/gold necklace.

 And, I was inspired by a tatting friend, Denise, to 

actually tat these wonderful earrings by Corina Meyfeldt.

They are tatting in size 20 Lizbeth Twirlz Patriotic.

Nicest part of this pattern is that it's a shuttle only 

pattern!!  And the beads are easy enough, it was 

tough figuring out the placement when loading 

them at first.  ;)

All you can do is tat!!

Our water was shut off for over 3 hours 

yesterday, and then again today(our trailer 

park has old pipes and they just keep repairing 

bandaging them).  Well, since I couldn't do 

laundry or dishes and I got other things done, 

all I could do was tat.  I got to work finishing 

the tatting of the chain.  Now, all I need to do 

is sew in ends, add a clasp, and some tiny 

butterflies.  :)

A Sea Turtle Lanyard

We have a friend who is in a ministry 

which we are involved in and she needed 

a new lanyard for her cross.  She asked 

if I could tat her one and of course, I 

said yes.  Well, after months of trying to 

figure out what to do(her favorite color is 

purple, but she liked all the purples and I 

couldn't decide for her, so...after thought 

and knowing how she LOVES sea turtles, 

I found these beads on Etsy and bought 

them.  I had Lizbeth size 10 Latte Foam

which reminds me of sand, and will go 

with more outfits than purple would, 

and so, her lanyard was born tatted.  ;)

 One side has the ministry name, the other 

lots of sea turtles!!!  :)

I won't see her until next month(I think), 

so I have to keep my secret until then-

it's terribly hard!!!

Patriotic Ice Drop

Just a basic Ice Drop with the outer chains longer

(I tatted them 10ds  3 beads  10ds).
