I got my second ink pen tatted insert done.

At some point I will try a 3rd. ;) It's a little
challenging for me and this 2nd one I made a
wrong join and it took a while to correct!
First one in Lizbeth size 20 Caribbean,
Second in Lizbeth size 20 Tropical Punch.
Second in Lizbeth size 20 Tropical Punch.
I am continuing to learn crochet. I am up to 45
Sunburst Granny Squares out of 78 for my cardigan.
And, I crocheted 2 of the flower you see on the left top.
They are to become hexagons if I can get that figured
out. And, I crocheted a heart that should be the
center of a square, but I didn't get that right either. ;)
Here are the rest of my squares for the cardigan below,
part of the count.
And, I saw these cool scrubbies and wanted to crochet
them for our daughter, but I am going to hide this and
just use it myself. It didn't turn inward in the center
as the design shows(I followed a video that seemed
to be the same thing, but called a holiday decoration),
but my center is terrible. ;) At least is looks almost
right. ;) :)
Back to some tatting while I am at home this week
not feeling so well. I can't go around all the seniors
if I am not up to 100%. Don't want anyone else not
feeling well!!!
It's just plugged sinuses, but it worries some. ;)
Have a great day!! Enjoy some tatting!! :)

I hope you feel better soon! You’re making good progress learning to crochet, looks good. And I’m still amazed by your pens, I can’t imagine getting the tatting in neatly.
Do you know where the tatted inserts originally came from? They were the legs/arms of my flower fairy http://www.janeeborall.freeservers.com/FlowerFairy.pdf I was quite annoyed when it happened but since then it’s been ‘stolen’ a few more times.
Thank you so much Jane!!! I am trying to get better. ;)
I am enjoying the crochet in the evenings when it's not quite light enough for me to tat, or when I am not feeling up to dealing with my fine threads in tatting!! ;)
I like how the pens have turned out! :)
I am sorry Jane, I didn't know. A tatting friend just showed her pens and I wanted to try and I was told the stitch count.
You have made such good progress on your crochet squares! And I really like your scrubbie - can't see any defects.
I would never have thought of putting tatting in a pen, amazing, I learned crochet in our first lockdown, I have done a blanket and a few other bits, I have been doing something fun at the moment and when finished will post them,
Thank you so very much muskaan!!! ;) I now have around 60 squares done because I have been home a whole week not feeling well and since I am mostly sitting the crochet keeps me busy. ;)
Thank you Margaret!! :) I hadn't thought of putting tatting in pens either. ;)
