Ok, Diane said blue and I went through my solids,
but I am horribly addicted to variegateds so, I
used size 40 Lizbeth Niagara Falls. I think
this actually shows up better than any solid might.
I was going to add beads to the joining picots,
but forgot until after 2 joins were complete.
Again, this is Ninetta's pattern here:
And a big help when starting is muskaan's tutorial here:
Hope you have had a wonderful day and
hopefully some tatting too!!! :)
I'm so flattered! The change in color shows off your work beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI am also addicted to variegated threads, and Niagara Falls is one of my favorites. I have learned to keep some solids in my stash as they do come in handy once in a while.
B E A U T I F U L !!!!!
ReplyDeleteNagyon jó variáció, egyszerűen szép:-)
ReplyDeleteI am glad you like it Diane!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI have about 1 drawer of solid threads, and 2+ of variegates all just in size 40, so then you would have to count my other sizes, but almost all of them are variegated. :)
Thank you Lelia and Jolimama!!! :)
That us SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you Fox!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWell done! I do love how well your folded rings look.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful piece!
ReplyDeleteI like that better and it shows up the rings better, looks lovely even if you did forgot the beads

Oh, I almost missed this ... Very pretty and the colourway shows the layered effect clearly.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so very much!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely tatting, you are becoming an expert at curled rings. Thanks Diane for the blue.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bernice!!! I do like this pattern and once you have it figured out, it's not so hard and tats fairly quickly!! :)
ReplyDeleteI like that! And Niagra Falls is one of my favorite of the Lizbeth variegated threads.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mistene!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully tatted! Ready to add beads in next one? :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Ninetta!!! :) Beads are my next thought, but that might be a couple weeks away.
