Thank you Diane!!! :) I am not a fan of it either, but when doing all those chains I do like it because it seems to lay nicer than the finer threads. I am actually thinking about re-tatting a doily I did in size 10 with tons of chains in size 3 some time. :)
Those are splendid - and useful. I think the variegated will always work for 'endless' chains, alternating rings and chains can muddle the colour flow.

Beautiful colours, but size three is a bit thick for me but idea for coasters.
