Tatting today in size 3

I have decided that using size 3 works great when doing
a lot of chains in a row.  :)
This is size 3 Pretty as a Rainbow HDT from
CustomCottonEtc.

Here are some other size 3 multi-chain tattings I did
in 2013 as Christmas gifts.

  1. I'm not a fan of size 3 thread, but you seem to have tamed the beast... beautiful tatting!

  2. I have some size three and they are fun and make great coasters too, and all your tatting is looking great!

  3. Thank you Diane!!! :) I am not a fan of it either, but when doing all those chains I do like it because it seems to lay nicer than the finer threads. I am actually thinking about re-tatting a doily I did in size 10 with tons of chains in size 3 some time. :)

  7. Those are splendid - and useful. I think the variegated will always work for 'endless' chains, alternating rings and chains can muddle the colour flow.

muskaan, I can't wait to see your size 7 projects!!! :) I just random tatted all these, and am thinking I should do more, but that will require purchasing more size 3 threads!! :)

  11. Thank you Margaret!! :) I agree with it being a bit thick(it felt very thick after working with size 80 just before it). :)
