Thank you Kathy!! I used a shuttle and ball thread. I just tatted chains and joined them to each opening, then went around again and joined in front and then in back to alternate them. :)
Very clever! Maybe I could have figured that out, but it wasn't obvious to me at first. I'll be giving this a try! As you know, I have that particular doodad!
Thanks Val! :) I just joined the string to the "doodad" and then chained 30 ds all the way around(6 spaces to join to), then decided to try some more chains and joined the next chain behind the first chain just inside it, and only 24 stitches to get a smaller chain, and then the next join in front of the first chain so I was joining in back then in front all the way around. Nothing really complicated. :)
Very creative! Did you use two shuttles to create that woven effect?
