Awhile back I was playing around with this design program:
I ended up with a few possible designs and have only tried this one here:
But it was cupping quite a bit and I wanted to see if I could do better and make it
look more like the drawing.
Here is my design: I call it the Backward Swirl(I had said wreath,
but I am changing it to motif). :)
Here it's tatted looking more like what I wanted!!!
I love the "rolling waves" around the outside!! :)
It's tatted in size 40 Lizbeth Salmon Med.
And I also did some Salmon stars. :)
Hope you are having a wonderful day!!! :)
Enjoy any tatting!!! :)
Those rolling waves are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous design! Looks beautiful tatted up :).
ReplyDeleteI love the rolling waves!
ReplyDeleteWow, well done to you!! You've nailed it!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much!!! :) You have encouraged me to try more!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty medallion. It somehow looks like 'motion' even though it doesn't actually move. Like the color, too.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I think you will find designing to be quite addictive once you get going!
ReplyDeleteThank you both so much!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSWtrompeter, that is what I was hoping for!! :)
Thank you Robin!!! :) So many wonderful tatters out there inspiring me!! :)
Awesome! Wonderful shape & rolling waves, for sure!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lelia!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm very impressed with your motif! Thanks for sharing the link to the designing webpage. I played with it just a little. It has some nice, easy-to-use features.
ReplyDeleteThank you Eliz!! :) I am glad that you got a chance to check out that designer tool too!! I did realize that you have to put either a ring or chain on first, and then click the number count of how many you want. It's kind of easy. :)
ReplyDeletelovely design and thank you for the link to that program, I'm going to try
ReplyDeleteThank you Corina!! :)
